Trading Course P-101

A two hour a day, five day online course covering the following topics:

Day 1:

Introduction
Reading the various market indices and understanding their effect on stocks. Understanding Overnight Gaps and Fair Value
How to utilize stock tickers and alerts to identify trading opportunities.
Understanding various means of bidding for and offering stock.

Day 2:

Understanding how hot keys work, how to set them up, and how best to use them.
Figuring out how best to customize your trading platform to suit your trading style.
Understanding and identifying refreshing ECN's and shadowing market makers.
Identifying the "axe" (dominant market maker) in any particular stock.
Reading the tale of tape (time and sales) and identifying manipulation.

Day 3:

Trading the opportunities the stocks offer you and not your P&L.
Identifying saturation points and corresponding stock movement.
Understanding a "locked market".
Learning to "negotiate" orders.
Correctly Identifying entry and exit points.
Understanding how orders "pegged to the market" work.

Day 4:

Understanding "booms"--orders sent through every available route--and how to identify and use them.
Identifying the elasticity of the stock.
"Gaps" in both markets and stocks--what they are and how to trade them.
Learn to "guard" positions.
Trading buzz words and common trader terminology.

Day 5

An overview of technical indicators:

-How to determine pivot points, understanding what they are, and how stocks and indices react to them
-Fibonacci's expansions and retracements
-Moving averages
-Leading and lagging Indicators
-Chart formations, i.e Teacups

Identifying price consolidation and trading subsequent breakouts.
Finding and trading "first day up/down" situations.
Identifying and trading key price Levels.

A two hour a day, five day online course covering the following topics: 

Day 1:

Trading and understanding fundamental news events.
News "food chain" breakdown.
Trading the mainstream news (Bloomberg, Acquire Media, CNBC, etc...). Understanding News Cycles.
Trading events triggered by the popular press (Cramer, Motley Fool, etc).

Day 2:

"Sympathy trading"--trading stocks in the same sector.
Interrelationship of stock sectors and corresponding trade opportunities.
Contra Trading—knowing when to initiate a position in the opposite direction of the face value of its news event.

Understanding market action leading up to and into earnings season.
Trading earnings & pre-announcements press releases.
Learn to manage multiple positions.

Day 4:

Pre & post market preparation
Navigating the pre and post market trading landscape.
Understanding and trading the fiscal calendar.
New SEC rules & regulations explained.
How to correctly enter short positions.

Day 5:

“Pegging the bid” on stocks in motion.
How to enter and exit trades with stocks in motion during big momentum situations.
Knowing when to trade and when it's best to avoid the markets.
